- Duration: 8 months part-time (calendar dependent).
- Delivery: Virtual live learning, interactive/practical sessions, group projects, and self-study.

- Explain testing concepts, levels, techniques, and where testing fits in Agile/SDLC.
- Plan, analyse, design, execute and report tests aligned to requirements and risk.
- Use entry-level automation and tools to accelerate regression and improve reliability.
- Read basic Java, interact with databases, and query data using SQL in testing contexts.
- NQF 6 qualification or relevant workplace experience (recognition of prior learning may apply).
- Basic computer literacy and comfort working with software systems.
- Software Testing Fundamentals: Principles, vocabulary, testing levels & types, Agile/SDLC fit.
- Test Analysis & Design: Deriving test conditions/cases, techniques, risk-based testing.
- Test Execution & Reporting: Runs, defect logging, metrics, stakeholder reporting.
- Test Management: Planning, scope, environments, traceability, governance.
- Automation Foundations: Where automation adds value; hands-on with an entry-level toolset.
- Business Analysis Fundamentals: Requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria.
- Development Fundamentals (Java): Reading code, understanding structure, testability.
- Database & SQL: Tables, joins, CRUD, validating data through queries.
