    You’ll build capability in test analysis & design, test management & reporting, and introductory automation - plus essentials in development (Java) and databases (SQL) to make your testing sharper and more technical.

    • NQF 6 qualification or relevant workplace experience (recognition of prior learning may apply).
    • Basic computer literacy and comfort working with software systems.
    • Software Testing Fundamentals: Principles, vocabulary, testing levels & types, Agile/SDLC fit.
    • Test Analysis & Design: Deriving test conditions/cases, techniques, risk-based testing.
    • Test Execution & Reporting: Runs, defect logging, metrics, stakeholder reporting.
    • Test Management: Planning, scope, environments, traceability, governance.
    • Automation Foundations: Where automation adds value; hands-on with an entry-level toolset.
    • Business Analysis Fundamentals: Requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria.
    • Development Fundamentals (Java): Reading code, understanding structure, testability.
    • Database & SQL: Tables, joins, CRUD, validating data through queries.
